General Rules:
- It’s a virtual challenge.
- Participation is only for 7xCC members. Those who do not have 7xCC membership, please contact Bharat +91 88609 96010 for joining 7xCC WhatsApp group. Membership is free of cost.
- Team formation will be done in fair and transparent way by the disciplinary team, once all the participants have registered for the event. Once the team is made, it is biding to all the participants, and the members cannot interchange on their own. Every team will choose one Team Captain, to be decided and shared with the 7xCC Challenge disciplinary team within 3 days of team formation.
- Challenges include Ride (E-bikes shall not be considered), Run and Walk as categories.
- Individuals can do any number of activities in any categories in a day, and all will be counted except as below:
- Minimum ride distance for a single activity is 20km. Ride done less than 20km won't be considered.
- Minimum Walk/Run distance for a single activity is 3km. Walk/Run done less than 3km won't be considered.
- 7xCC Challenge disciplinary team will pass the required information to the Team Captains and it would be further responsibility of Team Captains to share the information within the respective team.
- Participants must raise all disputes/clarifications to respective Team Captains, which will escalate it to the disciplinary team.
- If any member(s) are not able to continue with the challenge, respective Team captain(s) can raise the concern to the 7xCC Challenge disciplinary team within 10 days of challenge commencement. Depending upon the availability of any reserved members, the respective team shall be supported. Please note this will be on first cum first serve basis. In this case the member who is leaving the challenge his/her scores will be counted in team’s score.
- We encourage all members of team should participate. It should not be left to the top members to move the scoreboard. This is look out of Team Captain.
Activity Rules:
- All activities must be recorded on Strava with map visible. It is mandatory, otherwise the activity will not be considered.
- In walking, normal strolls won't be considered for e.g. walking in mall, walking in home etc. It must be a specific activity and shall be monitored through the Strava map.
- Manual entries done on Strava won’t be considered.
- The flagged off activity on Strava won’t be considered for scoring.
- Allowed activities are: 1) Outdoor cycling with maps visible on Strava, 2) Indoor cycling using trainer with maps visible on Strava. 3) Outdoor Runs/Walks with maps visible on Strava
- Individual must not use multiple devices at the same time to record a single activity. It shall be individual’s responsibility to delete one of the activities from Strava. Failure to do so may lead to disqualification of the participant after 3 repetitive defaults.
- Tagging for an activity by another fellow athlete won’t be considered.
- Elapsed time of a single activity on Strava can’t be more than 3x of the ride/run/walk time. E.g. If ride time is 65 mins, then elapsed time cannot be more than 195 mins (65x3 mins).
- All the activities shall be monitored by the 7xCC Challenge disciplinary team. Any activity not following the rules laid down shall not be considered and such activity uploaded will be discarded. Individual defaulting 3 times during the event shall be dis-qualified from the challenge and all his/her points will be deducted from team's score.
Scoring Rules:
- Every ride done (subject to minimum 20kms per ride activity) will get 0.60 points/km.
- Every run/walk done (subject to minimum 3kms per run/walk activity) will get a 1.0 points/km.
- Additional Bonus:
