General Rules

  1. Challenge starts from 10th November 12:01 AM
  2. Challenge ends on 30th November 11:59 PM
  3. It's a 21-day virtual challenge.
  4. Challenge includes categories as Ride, Run and Walk.
  5. Activities must be recorded on Strava.
  6. Individual can do only ONE activity per category in a day. If more than one activity is done in any category, the activity with longest distance will be considered for scoring.
  7. Minimum ride distance for a single activity is 20km. Ride done less than 20km won't be scored
  8. Minimum run/walk distance for a single activity is 3km. Run/Walk done less than 3km won't be scored.
  9. All activities must be recorded on Strava with map clearly visible. It's best to do the activities in an open area with good GPS signal strength. If the maps are not visible or are not clear that activity won't be considered for score.
  10. Manual activities done on Strava won't be considered for score.
  11. Tagging an activity on Strava won't be considered for score.
  12. Elapsed time of any activity on Strava can't be more than 1.5x of the moving time. For e.g. If in an activity moving time is 50 mins then total elapsed time can't be more than 75 mins (50 * 1.5). Elapsed time more than 1.5x will not be considered for score.
  13. Pace is the criteria to distinguish between run and walk. Refer rules below
  14. No activity uploads allowed after 1 day.
  15. All the activities will be monitored, any member found cheating will be disqualified from the challenge and their earlier score will be reduced to 0.


Scoring Rules for Ride

  1. Base points for an activity are 0.60. For e.g. if a ride is done of 25km then score will be calculated as 25*0.60 = 15
  2. 5 bonus points for hitting 50km. For e.g. if a ride is done of 50km the score will be calculated as 50*0.60 = 30 + 5 = 35
  3. Additional 5 bonus points for hitting 75km. For e.g. if a ride is done of 75km the score will be calculated as 75*0.60 = 45 + 5 + 5 = 55
  4. Maximum points attainable for an activity is 70 which is given by riding a 100km ride. There are no base points, no bonus just the flat points of 70.
  5. Distance above 100km will continue to remain flat point of 70.


Scoring rules for Run/Walk with pace lower than 8.5 min (8 minute 30 second) per kms

  1. Base points for an activity are 1. For e.g. if run/walk is done of 3km then score will be calculated as 3*1 = 3
  2. 5 bonus points for hitting 5km. For e.g. if run/walk is done of 5km then score will be calculated as 5*1 = 5 + 5 = 10
  3. Additional 4 bonus points for hitting 10km. For e.g. if run/walk is done of 10km then score will be 10*1 = 10 + 5 + 4 = 19
  4. Additional 3 bonus points for hitting 16km. For e.g. if run/walk is done of 16km then score will be 16*1 = 16 + 5 + 4 + 3 = 28
  5. Additional 2 bonus points for hitting 21km. For e.g. if run/walk is done of 21km then score will be 21*1 = 21 + 5 + 4 + 3 + 2 = 35
  6. Run/Walk done above 30km will continue to remain flat point of 44. No base points no bonus, only the flat points.


Scoring rules for Walk/Run with pace higher than 8.5 min (8 minute 30 second) per kms

  1. Base points for an activity are 0.8. For e.g. if walk/run is done of 3km then score will be calculated as 3*0.8 = 2.4
  2. 4 bonus points for hitting 5km. For e.g. if walk/run is done of 5km then score will be calculated as 5*0.8 = 4 + 4 = 8
  3. Additional 3 bonus points for hitting 10km. For e.g. if walk/run is done of 10km then score will be 10*0.8 = 8 + 4 + 3 = 15
  4. Additional 2 bonus points for hitting 16km. For e.g. if walk/run is done of 16km then score will be 16*0.8 = 12.8 + 4 + 3 + 2 = 21.8
  5. Additional 1 bonus points for hitting 21km. For e.g. if walk/run is done of 21km then score will be 21*0.8 = 16.8 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 26.8
  6. Walk/Run done above 30km will continue to remain flat point of 34. No base points no bonus, only the flat points.
